Reviews
This was my first time into a Freebirds restaurant ever. The staff were very helpful in explaining how to place an order and I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl with chicken and pork topped with habanero, creamy jalapeno, cheese and tortilla strips!
This place is like going to a Chipotle or QDoba but not as tasty and I am not a fan of either of those. The meat was fatty the burrito was mostly a bland cilantro lime rice that was more like white rice with parsley. The chips and queso were decent but I feel like the cheese had too much chipotle seasoning in it. However, spending $25 for 1 person to eat is definitely NOT worth it.
Freebirds is consistently good for us. We go here as a fallback option when we can't make up our dang minds about where the heck to go for some cheap food. Their menu has changed slightly over the years, but I always just get the Freebirds chicken burrito with Spanish rice, grilled veggies, pinto beans, lettuce, pico, corn, and some sort of salsa. My wife always orders tortilla bowl with queso and chips. They have pretty good queso but even their large (pictured) is not very big. They also don't give a lot of chips, so it just goes down quickly for the price. That's why I tend to stick with the burritos which are always packed with food if you instruct the employees to do so. Oh, and I always load up their death sauce on every bite. It's actually not that hot but has some good flavors. Okay, mouth is watering right now just thinking about it.... LOL. Workers are generally nice, but not always. I'm sure we'll be back soon.
I love going to Freebirds food is typical great however the AC has been broken for an almost a month and cooperate seems not to care about their employees for not dealing with it. Especially since this is Texas and we have 105+ degrees days. I feel so bad for them having to work in those kind of conditions and honestly shocked that nothing has been done. I hope this review finds the right people so that this problem will be taken care of
Tried it today for my first time. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito to go. Burrito taste like cilantro lime rice and black beans. Unbelievable. They hardly but any chicken in it . What a joke . If you want more meat it’s $3 extra.
Best Chocolate Chip Cookies in town. I get one every time I go.
I like how this place smells when you walk in the door. However, there are a couple tables that need some work. They are wobbly. …
Good food and friendly staff. Prices keep going up (but that's like everything lately). The steak is usually tender and I love the tomatillo sauce! By the time I add queso and guac and add a little tip, it's over $15. Maybe it's just me but …
Good food but some times either sanitary issue or too much cheese, it gives me stomach issues.
